Deliverance From The Spirit of Dust & Dunghill.

Topic: Deliverance From The Spirit of Dust & Dunghill.

Text: 1 Samuel 2 vs 8, Psalm 113 vs 7.

I'm made of dust but I do not live in the dust and the spirit of dust
is not my portion.  Christ has raised me by His spirit into a glorious
high throne and I shall live in the palace forever in Jesus' name.

David, while extolling the King of glory for His goodness, said in
Psalm 113 vs 7 thus: "He raised up the poor out of the dust, and
lifteth the needy out of the dunghill". The same appreciation of God
was made by Hannah, while singing a song of praise unto the Lord in 1
Samuel 2 vs 8. God is in the business of promotion. His spirit is a
spirit of increase and His ways are open only to grace and glory.

But there is a spirit of dust and dunghill: it is a spirit of the
valley. It is a spirit of extreme reduction. It is a spirit of
insulting poverty. It is a spirit of entrapment. The spirit of dust
and dunghill is also a spirit of death and sorrow. While the spirit of
God comforts and edifices, the spirit of dust and dunghill weakens and
wastes joy and blessings. The spirit of dust and dunghill is a spirit
of emptiness and meanness.

How does it manifest: 1. Where progress is never achieved in anything.
2. When there is barrenness and dryness of means. 3. When
opportunities never berth in someone's harbor. 4. When relationships
post perpetual deficits. 5. When favours come like rain in the desert.
6. When businesses crawl and crumble without any reason. 7. When
sicknesses build towers in someone's life. 8. When comfort of any kind
is far like the third heaven. 9. When promises are always made but
none is fulfilled. 10. When betrayal and wickedness is experienced
everywhere and no single experience of loyalty and acceptance is
enjoyed. 11. When targets are set and not a single one is achieved.
12. When the enemy wins all the rounds of attack and not a single
victory is won. 13. When someone falls from a great height . 14 . When
labour pains do not produce a baby. Anyone experiencing one or two of
the cases cited above needs serious prayers.

Beloved, God is very serious about our deliverance. As a matter of
fact, we are not the defeated that is seeking to be victorious- we are
the victorious that the enemy is seeking to destroy and we shall never
be destroyed in Jesus' name. Colossians 1 vs 13 says that God has
delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the
kingdom of His dear son. Yes, you and I that are called by the name of
God are redeemed already. It is from this vantage position we should
be operating and rebuking powers and forces importing dusts and
dunghill into any area of our lives.

Redemption is not reduction but it is not an immunity against
affliction. Troubles do come. Difficulties are bound to arise but God
is able to rescue you. The spirit of dust and dunghill is an
oppression of darkness. God will break its yoke in your life in Jesus'
name. Just avoid iniquity. Embrace prayers. Fall in love with praising
God. Sow good seeds. Immerse yourself in the word of God. Preach the
gospel and avoid a lifestyle of dust and dunghill. As you do all these
your victory is sure in Jesus' name. Amen. Shalom.

Praise & worship.

1. Onward, Christian soldiers!
Marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus
Going on before.
Christ, the royal Master,
Leads against the foe;
Forward into battle,
See his banners go!

Onward, Christian soldiers!
Marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus
Going on before.

2. At the sign of triumph
Satan's host doth flee;
On, then, Christian soldiers,
On to victory.
Hell's foundations quiver
At the shout of praise;
Brothers, lift your voices,
Loud your anthems raise.

3. Like a mighty army
Moves the Church of God;
Brothers, we are treading
Where the Saints have trod.
We are not divided;
All one body we:
One in hope and doctrine,
One in charity.

4. Onward, then, ye people;
Join our happy throng.
Blend with ours your voices
In the triumph song:
Glory, laud, and honor
Unto Christ, the King.
This through countless ages
Men and angels sing.
